The young hybrid walked around the sunny meadow, she was half vampire, which meant for the most part in the sun her skin looked normal. Vampires usually noticed that her skin was a little brighter but the human eye was no strong enough to see the change. This meant that she was able to go out on sunny days unlike the rest of her family. Today that was such a day that the others were home staying away from the sight of humans. Nessie was on her way home from school but had stopped in the meadow; it was her parents’ favorite place. She was wearing a light and flowing sundress, if a human saw her they would probably wonder why she was wearing it. The air was a little chilly for humans to wear dresses; but to a hybrid temperature didn’t really matter. She glanced at the sky and soaked in the suns rays as she walked into the center of the meadow and laid down on the cool grass.

Her mind began to drift to school and to prom, most of the girls in her class were so excited and couldn't wait for the boys to ask them to prom. A small frown appeared on her delicate lips, she wasn't sure any guy would ask her to the prom... she didn't date she was imprinted on by Jacob. Though it didn't stop her from wanting to go out on a few harmless dates like the other girls her age. The brunette ran her fingers through her long wavy hair, as she got lost within her own mind. She didn't want to think about missing out on something other girls her age did. Nessie wasn't even sure how her father would react if she came home and told him she was going out on a date. 

She was so lost in her own thoughts she didn’t even realize that someone was coming closer, she was a hybrid yet this wasn't the first time she had been so lost in thought that she hadn't heard someone. If it was another vampire they might assume she was some strange smelling human. She was far enough into the meadow that even on a sunny day a vampire might appear; humans rarely made it this far into the forest. Her rational mind knew she should be paying attention but some how she just kept getting sucked back into her mind.

"...and we're going to have to wake up early Saturday morning so we can drive up to Seattle and get your first round of chemo." Ellie rolled her eyes as she picked at her food. Yeah, great lunch time conversation, Marina.. "-Ellie, are you listening to me?" She lifted her head slowly, as if the weight of her head was heavier than it really was. "What'd you say?" she asked tiredly. Her older sister simply rolled her eyes, a gesture that made her look remarkably like her little sister. "As I was saying, just make sure to eat all of that, you haven't been eating well latel-" She was interrupted by Ellie pushing her chair back and standing up. "Wow, I wonder why that is, Marina." she bit back, her tone acidic and sarcastic. An apologetic look crossed her sister's expression and she felt a twang of regret for snapping at the older woman. She was only trying to help, after all. But it was just getting to be too much. Shaking her head she pushed the chair back a little more, making to leave the table. "I'm going to take a walk, don't worry, I'll have my phone on me, and- no don't follow me. God. Just get off my back." she continued on her way, slipping her phone into her back pocket and grabbing her jacket and leaving the cozy townhouse with a slam of the door. Now, Ellie didn't know where she was going, she just needed to get out of there. And anyways, wasn't this what she was supposed to do? The fresh air will do you good, those were her sister's words, anyways. Popping in her headphones she just began to walk in the direction of the forest behind her house. She had always loved pictures of large dense forests, but living in the city a picture was the closest thing she would get. This was an opportunity she wouldn't be able to pass up. But of course things always had to be harder for her. Over the past couple of months she had felt herself becoming more and more easily fatigued. It was frustrating. She didn't know how long she had been walking for, and she refused to look at her phone (she had felt it blowing up, no doubt with her sister's texts). She just needed to get out of there, she just needed to take a breath. As she approached a beautiful meadow, Ellie couldn't help but stand just on the edge of it, taking in how the scene before her almost shone with perfection. With her chest heaving slightly as she caught her breath, the brunette continued walking, intending to simply make it to the other side, before she nearly (literally) stumbled across someone. Stopping short of stepping on a young girl, one who appeared to be around her own age (despite the fact that Ellie looked like a twelve year old). She yanked her headphones out of her ears, her eyes widened and an apologetic look spread clear across her features. "I am so sorry, oh my God. I didn't actually step on you or anything, did I?" she asked breathily, horror painting her tone. 551 words Renesmee Carlie Cullen notes: hope this was okay!! || outfit!
