THE RULES
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR RULES BEFORE JOINING.
REGISTERING Please make sure you register with the display name is of the character you intend to apply for. For example. DO USE : EDWARD ANTHONY CULLEN | DON'T USE : mrmindreader2k10. Try to keep your username simple so that people can easily tag you when they post for you. Once you have registered, you must fill in an application, whether your applying for a canon or an original character. Do not post in the face claim or in any other claims until your application has been accepted. The admins might request for you to change a detail in your application. We aim to review your application within twenty four hours. If you are thinking of bringing an original character, please keep them to the member groups within line of the site plot. i.e. Humans, Vegetarian Vampires, Vampires, Shifters, Child of the Moon and Hybrids.
CBOX In order to keep the cbox open to everyone, please no spamming and no swearing. If you are seen to be swearing excessively in the cbox, you will be banned. Avoid plotting in the cbox; we have a plotting area specifically for this. Please be mature when chatting and avoid fighting with other members. If there are any issues, please contact an admin. We do not tolerate any form of bullying. Anyone seen to be displaying any form of bullying behaviour will be removed both from the cbox and the site. Please do not advertise in our shout box. That's what the advertising area is for. We love to chat with you, before, during and after you’ve joined! We’re very social here and always happy to answer any questions you may have about the site.
ADMIN CHAT We have launched an admin chat which can be found in the bottom left hand corner of your screen. This chat will connect you directly with an admin. Here you will be able to ask them any questions you may have regarding the site and/or any issues you may be encountering. Here, we are guaranteed to see the questions you ask and give you specific answers in a timely manner. Sometimes we miss questions and issues in the CBox; especially when its busy and or we go off line for any period of time.
CHARACTERS You can have up to 6 characters but you must put them ALL on different accounts. Please keep all of your characters active by posting with them as often as possible. Please try and log on with them all daily just to ensure it keeps the activity levels up. No Mary-Sue's or Gary-Stu's allowed. All people have flaws and your characters have to too! No God Modding. That’s a given! It’s annoying and if you are caught god modding once, you will be given a warning. If you are caught again, you will be banned for 3 days.
Hybrids are rare! After all, Renesmee was an anomaly for the Cullen's and all of the witnesses that were called. Alice and Jasper had to go all the way to the Amazon to find Nahuel! Please remember this when you are registering; and check the stats of the member groups. Ask an admin if you are unsure. Ideally, for every ten vampires accepted, there can be a hybrid accepted. Please see the Member Group Guidelines for more detailed guidance.
FACE CLAIMS Make sure that your face claim is over 13 years old. Proboards has a minimum age of 13 on their boards, and while you may be over 13, if your face claim isn't, it could cause problems. Please do not whine if the face claim you wanted is taken, we work on a first come first served basis here unless your reserve it! But remember a reserve only lasts for three days so be quick!
Major canon face claims are generally NOT open to be changed - this includes any of the Cullen's, Quileutes, Volturi, Humans and Denali coven. However, If the character isn't really developed in the books or the description in the books is different to the physical appearance of the actor/actress , you can have a little more wiggle room with it. The face claim you choose to use instead must be fitting the character description given by Stephanie Meyer. Admins reserve right to accept or deny desired face claims for these characters. Please see the Member Group Guidelines for more detailed guidance on.
WRITING We have a minimum of 300 words per post. We are an intermediate-advanced roleplay site and it is important that your post are both of quality and quantity. The only time we will allow posts under 300 is if you are carrying out a quick fire response thread, i.e. IM/text conversations. If you fail to post 300+, you will first be given a warning by an admin and a chance to re-write the post. If you fail to do so, your post will be deleted. Consistent under posting will result in your character being removed from the site. Please don’t bother complaining about it. Just follow the rules and we'll all be happy. Please try use the correct spelling of words and the correct punctuation and grammar. Use google to help you, or ask if you need help!
ACTIVITY Can you please, please, please stay active? We cannot stress this enough. It is okay if you have to go on vacation or something like that, but don't just disappear, post in the absence board, please. We'll think you died if you don't tell us! ): We will have activity checks every two month. Unless you have told us of your absence, if you fail to sign the activity check your account will be removed. Sorry. This is the third time we are opening up this site due to lack of member activity. Please don’t make us close it for the third time!
GRAPHICS Each of your characters must have its own graphics that consist of the play by you have chosen. That means no random avatar and no random picture for the signature. Do not stretch the page with graphics! Sizes are; SIGNATURE max width 600px and AVATAR 150x150. Mini profile pictures are 250x450 and can be edited via the personal tab of your profile. If you stretch the board in any way with your graphics they will be removed without notification! Secret phrase: garden burger. No nude pictures. Make sure the naughty bits are covered. If you need any help with graphics, please ask an admin or ask in the graphic boards.
