personality Rosalie is a complex young woman appears as a narcissistic, self-centred person and to an extent she is, she likes to look her best and be the center of attention because she is extremely beautiful, and she won’t be happy until girl’s self-esteem drop at least five points just by looking at her. Rosalie isn’t all bad she while she isn’t gifted with any special abilities like Edward, Jasper or Alice she uses her self-centred and narcissism as a shield, to stop people from seeing the damage to her soul having been assaulted by her ex-fiancé and his friends and almost killed by them was a traumatic experience for her and while Emmett makes her feel at peace she doesn’t want anyone to see her vulnerability, Rosalie also uses her vanity to hide her thoughts from Edward, when he is around she thinks only of herself and about Emmett in a way that a brother really doesn’t want to see to try to stop him from focusing on her thoughts. Rosalie also has a love for cars, she enjoys enhancing cars and doing anything mechanical when not with the love of her life she is often seen under a car in a jump suit with oil stains on the suit and on her cheeks, she is hands down the best mechanic in the family, Rosalie tries to do things with her family to be close to them, with Carlisle she studies medicine with him to help him stay up to date on all the medical trends, Rosalie plays musical instruments with Edward but isn’t as talented as her brother. Rosalie is also fond of shopping she loves to by clothing in particular but also loves decorating which may sometimes lead her to facing off against the savage pixie (Alice) Rosalie does “Stuff” with Emmett and shares her soul and with jasper she just hangs out and talks to him. Rosalie values humanity and more than anything wishes she was still human, she wants to be a mother and have a family of her own, to have children to dote on and take care of, one of her fantasies she likes to imagine in her head is living with Emmett as humans in a nice house with a white picket fence, with a family of their own. Rosalie loves her family more than anything, but when it comes to Emmett she is fiercely protective and possessive of him, if someone tries to harm him she will rip their head off their shoulders. Emmett isn’t just her big bad monkey man he’s her reason for living and if he dies she’ll die too, but not before avenging him. Rosalie also tends to get vicious to any girl that tries to flirt with her man, but not in an obvious way she’s stealthier like cutting the breaks from their car or maybe putting the girl’s number on the boy’s toilets mirror with a lipstick kiss under the name and number. BIOGRAPHY Rosalie Lillian Hale was born in Rochester, New York in early 1915 she had two younger brothers, her mother was a house wife and her father worked in a bank he kept the family wealthy during the great depression. Rosalie was beautiful from a young age, she was always clean and proper raised by her mother to be the perfect little lady, she charmed all the adults with her good manners and her adorable smile. Rosalie’s parents spoiled her and praised her constantly making her vain and self-centered as a result, she wasn’t the only one who took pride in her looks, her parents were always proud of her, which was something Rosalie enjoyed. Rosalie frequently received brand new expensive clothing from her father, all her friends were always jealous of Rosalie something which made Rosalie smile, she was always deeply admired by every man that passed her, she was naïve to their true thoughts and desire. Although she was raised by her social climbing parents, Rosalie didn’t much care about social status she was just happy in the knowledge that she was Rosalie Hale, the most beautiful and sophisticated girl in all of New York, that is…until the Cullens arrived in town, that’s when things started to go downhill for Rosalie, when she saw the beauty of the Cullens she was infuriated by it, they had the nerve to be prettier than her the few times she did see them she didn’t let it get the best of her, because she was more than just beauty she was classy. Rosalie’s life would soon take a course that there was no backing down from, with just the simple request of her mother… Rosalie was asked to deliver her father’s forgotten lunch to his job and it was on that day Rosalie met the son of the bank owner Royce King the second, in which Rosalie found herself amused by him, it wasn’t until he sent her roses and made a comment that her eyes were like violets did Rosalie really take interest, the relationship between Rosalie and Royce was shallow based on physical attraction, they didn’t talk much as Royce was always at the bank, Rosalie in the meantime did as she always did she shopped and spent time with friends, eventually Royce proposed and she accepted. A week before the weeding Rosalie had left her friend Vera’s place and while walking home she found herself shaken at the thoughts of a loveless relationship, she eventually came across her drunken fiance and his friends Royce had been bragging about Rose’s beauty which lead to Rosalie brutally being gang raped and beaten before being left in the street to die. Rosalie waited for death to come and claim her, but was instead found by Carlisle Cullen the scent of her blood luring him to the dying beauty. Carlisle carried Rosalie to a room where he turned her into a vampire and condemned her to an eternity of unfulfilled dreams and misery. Rosalie awoke to the sound of arguments between Edward and Carlisle about the idea of Edward being repulsed by Rosalie being his mate, she thought he was no prize pig himself. Rosalie had no attraction to that uncouth jerk, but was more than annoyed when he didn’t find her attractive. The only thing that had made Rosalie feel better about being a vampire was the fact she was now beautiful. Rosalie decided not long after her transformation in avenging theatricality and coining the expression hell hath no fury than a woman scorned. Rosalie broke into a bridal boutique and stole a wedding dress and night after night she went after Royce’s friends and killing them saving Royce for last, she savored their fear enjoying it greatly. Rosalie knew she was out of place in the world, and with that she chose to follow the Cullens because at least that way she wouldn’t be alone. Two years after her transformation in the year 1935 Rosalie stumbled across Emmett McCarty being mauled by a bear outside Gatlinburg Tennessee, Emmett reminded Rosalie of Vera’s young son Henry and because of this she saved the dying man she resisted the urge to drink Emmett like a human happy meal and carried him over one hundred miles to Carlisle who turned him into a vampire at her request. Emmett seemed to accept vampire life quite well and much to Rosalie’s relief didn’t hate her for arranging in him becoming a monster like her. Rosalie found happiness and peace with Emmett, rarely being apart from him, she cared for him more than anyone she had ever cared about, Rosalie had many more adventures in her life with the love of her life (will be featured in her diary) Twilight Rosalie found herself disliking the new girl, She thought Edward had lost his mind and was concerned that the lack of angst he was well known for was apart of some form of mental breakdown, she was furious when he saved Bella from being crushed by a car and accidently giving the family secret away. At one point Rosalie considered killing Bella until Alice & Carlisle talked her out of it, she was convinced she could get away with it too, all she had to do was cut the brakes of Bella’s junk truck. When James decided to hunt Bella she thought nature was taking its course and that Bella would no longer be a thorn in her backside, that is until typical Edward came up with the idea of being a knight in shining armour to save Bella, and while he asked her for help Rosalie really didn’t want to get her new boots dirty, it wasn’t until after Carlisle asked her to help out, that she reluctantly agreed to help. NewMoon After the whole messy situation with Bella was sorted Rosalie and Emmett took a vacation to Africa having graduated from high school she and Emmett had some free time, Rosalie had no intention of attending Bella’s 18th birthday but instead planned ongoing to Italy to get some new shoes, only for Emmett to convince her otherwise, Rosalie Attended the birthday and couldn’t believe the outcome she described it as “it was like as a train wrecked happened but as the train wreck was happening a plane crashed into it which caused a big cruise line to sink at the same time” as Jasper tried to eat Bella. After the incident with the Vulture Rosalie attended a meeting she had started to think of Bella more than an inconvenience after saving her brother’s life, despite this she voted against Bella becoming a vampire explaining that it was not out of hate, but because she wished someone had been there to vote now when Carlisle had turned her. Eclipse Rosalie had found herself annoyed by the fact newborns were after Bella, annoyed because she felt her family was at risk and while she didn’t want to kill Bella anymore, Rosalie tried to plead with Bella to change her mind in wanting to be a vampire, Rosalie shared her past with Bella exposing a vulnerable side to the human and telling Bella of everything she would miss as a vampire, as well with that she fought alongside her family and the smelly dogs in protecting Bella from the newborn army. Breaking Dawn While Rosalie wasn’t fond of the idea of Bella Marrying her brother she did like the idea of wearing a pretty dress and out shining Bella on her wedding day, Rosalie attended the wedding even going as far to voluntarily fixing Bella’s hair and playing Edwards Piano during the wedding. Rosalie took comfort in knowing she did her best to stop Bella from making a mistake, she knew one day Bella would understand. Rosalie however found herself undergoing an Emotional shift when Bella called her and told her of the news that she was going to be a teen mom. Rosalie was shocked that Bella was pregnant with Edwards child, right from the start she wanted to protect the baby, she loved the baby and would do anything for it she fought half of her family to protect the baby, during which time her feelings for Bella became more sincere, Rosalie even endured the filthy disgusting smell of Fido the dog for Bella and the unborn Baby, After Nessie was born Rosalie considered ways of getting Fido out of the picture so she could have more Nessie time.
