personality First of all, the first thing people see when they look at Emmett, is his overwhelming size. He is intimidating to say the least. Even though he is a lethal fighter, he is in normally one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Emmett is kind and supportive. He is loyal to friends and family. Nothing could take him away from his family. He is childish and happy go lucky and a good sense of humor. One of Emmett’s passions is video gaming. He owns one of almost every game console. Emmett is always looking out for the newest game. He enjoys football as well as baseball. Football is something unfortunately he does not get the opportunity to play very often. He is very competitive. As a child, Emmett can be thoughtless in his words and actions. He can be impatient and reckless. Though his lust is not as bad as the thirst Jasper suffers with, Emmett does still find it difficult sometimes to be around humans. He enjoys off roading and playing chess and his favorite animal to hunt is a bear. BIOGRAPHY Emmett was born in 1915 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He grew up in a large family and without one on one attention, grew up a bit wild and rambunctious. Enjoying a bit too much of the drink and too many women. Still, he never forgot his family. He was always loving and supported them. Working hard for the railroad and hunting often and bringing back his kills. It was on one of his hunts that he met his fate. Mulled by a bear he was trying to kill, Emmett was going to die. If it had not been for his angel, Rosalie, Emmett would never had gotten his second chance. Rose managed to carry him all the way back home to Carlisle. She had considered leaving him but his face and curly hair had been his saving grace. At first, Rose could not stand Emmett and his childish behavior and it was hard seeing the child she could never have in his face. However, with persistence, he grew on her and they slowly fell passionately in love. Emmett’s sense of humor had been the breaking point. Rosalie had avoided him but one joke after many others had broken her wall against him and her laughter had opened the way. Emmet was not frightened or angered to know that he was a vampire but his first thought was his family. He had been a support for them and now he was gone. He did know however that he could not trust himself to return to them. He knew the chances were very high that he would end up killing them. Emmett arranged for a fortune to be delivered to their home in hopes to ease their pain. He then sought out information on them until the family grew old and his siblings began their own families. Emmett had trouble adjusting to the ‘vegetarian’ lifestyle. A few times, he did mess up. Having come across singers (people whose blood called to him like a drug). Once, Emmett lost control instantly and killed the human in an alleyway. The other, he had tried. He and Rose had moved away from the Cullen’s to a small apartment of their own. All would have been fine except their new neighbor was not only a singer but a flirt as well. She had pushed herself on Emmett one afternoon when he had been alone. Emmett had not been able to help himself. He had killed her and hidden her body. It didn’t take long for her to be found but Emmett and Rosalie were long gone. The Cullen's were forced to move around for reasons like this. Due to the treaty with the Quileute Tribe shape shifter’s, the Cullen's agreed to no longer feed humans. Animals were just as good even if not as tasty. Emmett has married Rosalie many times. He has also traveled much of the world and owns a few businesses as a silent partner. He has attended several high schools and colleges, but never earned any particular degree, preferring instead to move quickly from one subject that interests him to the next. Emmett took to Bella fairly easily when she came into the picture. He did have his worried that she could not be fully trusted but Bella eventually proved herself as trustworthy. Emmett, knowing how important Bella was to Edward,jumped to help protect her against James. Of course hoping to fight James himself. He also saved Bella’s life from Jasper when Bella cut herself at her 18th birthday party. He did however move away up north with his family when Edward decided to leave Bella. They move back after the near expose of Edward to humans in Volterra, Italy when It is believed that Bella has died. Even with his dislike of the werewolves, when word comes of wild newborns, Emmett and the Cullen’s join forces with the werewolves to train for the battle against Victoria and her creations. A battle which he comes out of without a scratch. No one expected Bella to get pregnant. Emmett was worried about the baby's effect on Bella’s health but as Rosalie and Esme moved to protect her, Emmett did the same. The situation was hard on everyone due to the Uley Pack keep watch outside and preventing the Cullen’s from going out to feed. It had been clear they intended on killing Bella to prevent the birth of the child. He does eventually get a chance to fight his way out but can not go far with the risk to his family and returns quickly. The birth of Renesmee and the death of Bella was frightening to say the least. Emmett did what he could but mainly just stayed out of the way. As with most people who saw her, he was taken by his niece. By newborn and very strong Bella, not so much. The second confrontation with the Volturi could have easily been the death of them all. Thanks to Irina’s misinterpretations, the Volturi decided to kill the Cullen’s for making a immortal child and arrives in Forks. It is only thanks to Alice's vision that they are able to prepare as much as possible and gather witnesses to Renesmee. Emmett and Rosalie hurried to find Nomadic vampires and send them to Forks and then Emmett began to teach Bella how to fight. It is Alice however who defuses the war by returning with a vision for Aro of how the battle with end up. Of the blood, the loss and the death. Alice also found Nahuel and brought him to Forks. Nahuel's testimony was critical in convincing the Volturi that Renesmee was not a threat. Now, with the Volturi planning another attack, everyone is on edge. Emmett is aware of the newcomers in town and he wants to pack up the family and leave.
