ELLIE N. IVANKOVA
HUMAN. 17 YEARS OLD.
And this pure lil cinnamon bun is Ms. Eleanora Ivankova. A few facts for ya, she prefers to be called Ellie, she's 5'2" (but her license says 5'3" and she will make a huge deal of that), her favourite subject is biology and she used to be setter for her school's volleyball team. Used to be being the key words. Ellie was orphaned when she was thirteen and it was up to her older sister to take care of her, so she moved to Cleveland where her sister was finishing up school and she herself finished school in the big city. But bad news kept hitting them. Only a few months ago, she was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia.
Ellie and her older sister made the move from Cleveland to Forks recently because of the notion that the clean air would be good for her, as well as the proximity of the hospital to where they would live. Ellie will be continuing school at Forks High for as long as she can, until she really can't anymore.
She's a stubborn sort of person, always determined to keep moving on but she's also painfully shy, especially after recent events. It's unlikely that she'd be jumping at chances to make friends, she's scared about her future and about the people she's impacting with her illness. She's afraid of getting too close to someone, only letting them down if she gets the news that her cancer isn't getting better. But despite her hesitation to make new relationships, and her reluctance to admit that she's actually lonely, she needs friends so things are so open in this department!!
Ellie doesn't like wasting her time with anything unnecessary, and making enemies would be pointless in her eyes, and she'd think that the confrontation of it all would be stupid. But enemies are just a part of life, I would love if Ellie ended up having some antagonistic relationships form and we could definitely work out how that happened!
If Ellie has reservations about making friends she most definitely would hesitate when it comes potential lovers. She's demisexual so she likely had one or two relationships in the past before realizing that they didn't feel quite right, but even more so now, Ellie just wouldn't want to get too close to someone when the risk of her just not making it is very much a posibility. That being said, I absolutely love drama. If your character needs a significant other or an imprint or anything of the like, and Ellie sounds like someone your character would like having around just let me know, we could definitely work something out!
