personality Nahuel is a complicated creature. His very creation was the means of his mother's death, and such a thing weighs heavy on him. He feels guilty for the death of his mother, for though he never really met her, he felt her love for him and in turn loved her dearly. For most of his existence he has lived alone with his maternal aunt, Huilen. A vampire changed by him in his infancy. He is very close to her, and she is perhaps his most precious person. His seclusion from the outside world has had an affect on his social dealings. He doesn't understand most conventional social norms. He was raised in the jungles, taught to hunt by his aunt, and yet despite the odds pointing towards such a thing, Nahuel has not lost his humanity. He is merely confused by it. Nahuel is an incredibly curious creature, almost childlike, and what he doesn't understand he yearns to learn. But his ignorance towards anything modern should not be mistaken for weakness or idiocy. Nahuel is first and foremost a hunter, his mind has been trained to be the perfect predator. . BIOGRAPHY Nahuel was born from death. As he drew in his first breath, his mother released her last. The birth of a hybrid, half vampire, half human, is a violent affair. For Nahuel, like others of his kind, are not born through conventional methods. An infant hybrid must tear free from their mother's wombs. His own mother lived only long enough to name him after their people's word for the jungle cat. A hope that a strong name would bring him strength in life. Afraid, alone, and also hungering for something his young mind could not understand, when he is picked up and drawn into a careful embrace, he does something he perhaps should not have. With baby milk teeth he bit into the warm body holding him. Unlike the females of his kind, male hybrids are as venomous as their pure blooded kin. One bite is all it took to start the change in the human holding him. As it would turn out, that unlucky human, was his maternal aunt Huilen. And it is Huilen who would become his protector as he aged. Huilen hunted for him in the early years, it was she who would provide the blood need to keep his young body going. And she was also the one to fight any who would dare lay claim to him. Nahuel was not the first of his kind, two paternal sisters preceded him in life. And when his father dearest came to collect what he thought belonged to him. Huilen was the one to show them how very wrong that assumption was. If there is anyone in the world Nahuel could ever say he truly hated, it would be his father. He blames himself for his mother's death, but blames his father for ever laying eyes on his mother. Over the course of his life Nahuel's father has come to convince him to join his coven, a coven of hybrids. Superior beings, he called them. And as the only male hybrid in existence, well Nahuel was a coveted piece indeed. To avoid his father's scheming, Nahuel and Huilen spend most of their time traversing South America. And it isn't until they are approached by the most peculiar pair of vampires, with an even more interesting request do they venture out of the jungles for their first time in their existence. The journey to Forks Washington was an interesting experience to say the least, and their arrival seemed to have come at a most pivotal moment. For the first time in his life, Nahuel told his story to strangers, gave proof of his own existence and in doing so, bringing the truth of his own kind to the surface. All to save a hybrid child, one not linked to his own family. Once their part had been played, Nahuel and Huilen did not linger in Forks for long. The journey had awakened a new desire in Nahuel. For all his life he'd once been content with the jungles and all they had to offer.
