personality Seraphine is kind with all her heart, she would do anything to protect those she cared about, even those she didn’t know. If you need help all you have to do is ask her and the girl will do anything to help. She is a bit naive, too easily trusting of others which often gets her in trouble. She likes to see the good in people, even if there isn’t any there. She is the kind of person who would give up her meal to someone who really needed it. If you’re hurt, alone, scared she is the person to be there, helping you through it all. With that being said the girl can have a bad temper when pushed to far, something she gets from her father. Not that she knows who her father is, but when you push her too far she will act out. She can throw a bad tantrum when she is mad, basically she can be the sweetest person you know, or the worst person depending how how you treat her. She tried to keep her temper in check because well she doesn’t like the darker side of herself. She also has a problem using her ability...like she’s obsessed with it, she can compel people to do what she wants. More than not she is using it to get her way, it’s like second nature to her, which isn’t always good. For the most part she is a good person, she’s not that old, she’s still learning about the world around her. Seraphine is curious about everything and everyone around her, she has a hunger for knowledge, curiosity killed the cat they say well...it could likely end up killing her some day. She had no sense of danger, she doesn’t worry about it until it’s too late. She is good at making friends though, without compelling them, she just prefers to be nice over bitchy. BIOGRAPHY Seraphine was born in the worst kind of way, she much like others of her kind, tore herself from her mother’s body. Her mother took her last breath as she stared at her daughter. When she was born her mother had no one around her to help, she didn’t even know she was going to give birth, thinking she still had a little bit of time. She was in the woods when Seraphine was born, no one heard her cries as her daughter tore herself from her mother’s womb. She only had enough strength to grab her daughter, holding her as her eyes slid closed, they wouldn’t open again. Sera cried in the forest, it seemed like hours went by before someone found the mother and child. Seraphine’s would be foster father found the infant not knowing what had happened or who what she was, at least at first. He was, is a shifter, a lone one, for reasons that are his own. He took the baby, after burying her mother, giving her a proper burial, he would discover rather quickly just what she was. Of course he wasn’t sure until he heard of what happened in washington. He wanted no part of the vampires so he took Seraphine and he moved on to Scotland, his home. He thought she would be safe from discovery there, at least it was safe until Sera had aged into a teenager within a year of moving to the Highlands. Now I know what you’re thinking, Scotland is a huge place, easy to hide in. However that was not the case considering Sera wasn’t very good at hiding who and what she was. She had a problem with her ability, she was using it more and more, the vampires of Scotland took notice of her, of her gifts. Her father thought it was time to move on when he heard whispers of Volturi, he wasn’t a vampire, he didn’t know much about them besides rumors he heard. He too had vampire friends, and it was them that warned the pair that Sera needed to be careful with showing off. The volturi was unforgiving, and they might see her as a threat with her not caring about showing off. So that’s how the pair left Scotland, they have been travelling non stop since then, never stopping in a place too long. The girl got tired of moving from one place to the other, she wasn’t worried about these Volturi, they didn’t scare her though they should have. The pair’s latest home is Washington...Forks to be exact, the one place they probably shouldn’t be. However Seraphine convinced her father to let them settle in, she could use her gifts if she needed to wipe anyone’s memory of them. Well that’s not how it worked exactly. In order to use her ability, Sera needed to have physical contact with the said person, keeping eye contact for it to work. She can only compel those whose guard is down, weak willed, it works better on humans then vampires but sometimes she can get lucky and it’ll work on the vamps. The down side of her gift, migraine from hell, it can also backfire temporarily. If it backfires that means she could end up doing as the person wanted. It has only happened once and it only lasted for half an hour, she tries not to do it to the point of backfiring.
