This is a totally hard for someone like Artemis not because she doesn't want too...but she is some what hesitant to make friends, unsure of whether their allies to her parents. Even though she is clearly old enough to make her own decisions, there's still a part of her that is fearful of her parents. But if a person is willing to persue a friendship with Artemis they have one loyal friend, who is willing to fight to the very end.

Her parent's are the top of her list of enemies, even though in many other's eyes they are perceived as kind, passive creatures. Other's have made their way on her list...and probably other's will as well.

This is also a touchy subject for Artemis because she herself believes she is incapable of loving anyone. Sure the few friend's and even her favorite uncle have tried hooking her up...but it didn't really catch on with her. Perhaps someone will come her way to show her the right path of love.
