HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!
Welcome to our first ever weekly newsletter - how are we all today?
These newsletters will include all the information you’ll need to know for the site. This could be a new addition to the site, an announcement, competitions, etc. So make sure you do pay attention to these so you can keep on top of everything/any changes being made.
We have a couple of new things going on that we would like to bring to everyone’s attention this week;
1. So as you know, we have launched an admin chat which can be found in the bottom left hand corner of your screen. This chat will connect you directly with an admin. Here you will be able to ask them any questions you may have regarding the site and/or any issues you may be encountering. Here, we are guaranteed to see the questions you ask and give you specific answers in a timely manner. Sometimes we miss questions and issues in the CBox; especially when its busy and or we go off line for any period of time.
2. There has been an update with the rules, we had added a couple of things to keep the site safe and moving. Please make sure you check these details out - once you have please send myself or Jen (Edward) the secret word embedded in our rules.
3. Activity…Can you please, please, please stay active? We cannot stress this enough. It is okay if you have to go on vacation or something like that, but don't just disappear, post in the absence board, please. We'll think you died if you don't tell us! ): We will have activity checks every two months. Unless you have told us of your absence, if you fail to sign the activity check your account will be removed. Sorry. This is the third time we are opening up this site due to lack of member activity. Please don’t make us close it for the third time! Also, try and log in at least once every 24 hours just so you can keep up with any plots or changes to the site. We know life gets in the way some days - trust me WE do go through this too - but just pop on to say hi!
THE FIRST ACTIVITY CHECK WILL BE TAKING PLACE AT THE END OF MARCH!!
4. March Competition - Yes...ALL, that includes anyone joining through the month of MARCH. What are the rules I hear you ask? Well, it's all very simple.
1) Invite fellow RP friends/advertise the site
2) Ensure anyone who comes to us and joins informs, via the application, they're through you
3) NO SPAMMING of any kind on ANY other RP Sites
4) Have fun with it, be creative! EVERYONE is welcome!
We, as admin, opt out of this one purely because we advertise all the time and so will not be counted in, it is for our members ONLY!
The winner will be labelled 'Recruiter of the Month' for the month of March and have pride of place on our winners board - linking everyone to their plot page.
So there we have it guys! The competition will end on FRIDAY 31ST MARCH at 12noon!
5. Carnival time! Don’t forget with have the Spring Carnival in town!! We have extended this until 17th March, so make sure you pop in and mingle with everyone around. There’s a lot of fun to be had here!!
